Designed a nostalgic, broadcast-inspired looping animation for Figma’s "Release Notes" Episode 006, drawing from the aesthetic of late-night show bumpers and SNL-style transitions. The loop functioned as both a promotional announcement and a comforting "waiting signal" during live stream setups, blending tech updates with a classic, tactile broadcast feel.

Direction A: Muybridge Studies
These studies pay homage to the origins of motion, utilizing the silhouette of a galloping horse as a light nod to Eadweard Muybridge. By layering iconic forms with vibrant, high-contrast stripes and analog textures, the studies explore the tactile comfort of early television.
Direction B: Regional & Broadcast Connectivity
This direction focuses on the "Release Notes" broadcast as an event rooted in San Francisco. These sketches borrowed from localized symbols (such as the Golden Gate Bridge and regional flora), and blended with technical broadcast elements like SMPTE color bars and signal grids. The goal was to visualize "connecting ideas" through a nostalgic lens, exploring how digital information can feel grounded in a specific place.
