A Children’s Guide to Anarchy
Rooted in José Antonio Emmanuel’s Anarchy Explained to Children, the project takes the book’s playful, philosophical spirit as a starting point — treating childhood imagination as a lens through which to rethink power, order, and collective creativity. Dumbworld led the production, bringing together Red Note Ensemble for original orchestration and collaborating closely with students from all seven grades at Oakwood Primary School in Glasgow, who each created their own song inspired by the text.
From there, I worked alongside Sasha Staicu and Dumbworld to shape the project’s art direction, developing moodboards, sketches, and the overall visual tone. Sasha focused on illustration while I handled the animation, compositing, and final edit, translating the music and ideas into a cohesive animated piece.
